Dear Nell,
I meant to write Monday night -but did not get the opportunity. When I arrived out here on Sunday night it started to rain. Being first home I had to go out in the rain & peg the tent down & then dig a trench all around it. Going inside I found someone had been in the tent & pulled everything all over the ship & piled in the centre. By the time things had straightened out a little the bugle went for lights out & I had to get to bed in the dark. Two of the chaps in my tent had their people out
