Dear Nell,
You will notice that I have not given you the name of the place we are at, but it is prohibited for the time being.  We are getting it right in the neck here.  Work, why I never new what it meant before.  We have to wear our full pack every time we go out.  During the afternoon we are taken for a swim & I have had the honor of swimming across the canal, as we are right close to it.  All the Lindfield boys are here except U Arthur, he is still at Tel-el-Kebir.  The place we are at now is a fair coot, nothing but dust storms   The first two days, we had to remain in our tents, as you
