It is hard luck for Walter to be stopped on the event of his honeymoon, but really this is the country he should spend it in the life & scenery is really fine, ahem. It is a pity the lads in camp at Liverpool did not save their energy until they reached the trenches as it would do far more good there. It was pretty rough on the two girls on the Manly wharf. A pity I was not there. Tell Amy when you see her that I left instructions with Mother to give her a photo & that if she asks, Mother will give her one.
