ears & said he did not know when he would be coming out, although he got up that day.  It seems now that he is getting right, but is a bit shaky on it.  Mick did not seem to be too good but said he felt fine.  You had better not say anything to Mr Smith in case Fred has not mentioned it.  Mick has got a job as company butcher, so is right in his element.  Sorry to hear of the fires up your way.  It is just the reverse here, very cold.  A Russian who has lived here for the last ten years, told me last night that he had not seen so much cold weather & rain he since he came to this country.  They blame the Australians for it or rather give us the credit, as it is a great benefit to them.  I suppose building will take a great jump, up the mountains after this.
