the road at your feet. Owing to our continual moving our mail is very unreliable, but still we do get some of it. One arrived yesterday from Mother & she says that she is better now than she has been for a very long time, & I hope she keeps that way. I have not answered Jen's last letter yet, but will try & catch this mail. Up to the present I have been keeping all of your letters, but am afraid that I will have to burn them all, as we may have to give up our packs at any time now, & perhaps never see them again. You will probably say that I would have dumped them long ago if I had had any sense, but please remember I never had much, & only brought that to light once. Perhaps you will remember when that occured. Have not had a letter from you this week, but suppose they will arrive shortly. Mind you let me know if the green envelopes arrive up to time. Must close now to catch the mail. Lots of love to all the family, & the very best of love to yourself.
Al.
Have made a better ending in the green envelope. Al.
