afternoon.  Mr. Justice Onslow kindly called one evening last week here with them, and Mrs. Anderson has made the acquaintance of Miss Bent, who is a most agreeable lady.

We are now having fine warm weather;  only we are afraid of the Influenza which seems to have broken out in many places in England.  We got over the cold winter very well, and on the whole there are many worse places than England with all its fogs.  We are all in normal health & have reason to be thankful.  With very kind regards to you all.  I remain in haste,
