on this point formerly, advising you to try & get a run on the open plains (with belts of timber all the better) near the base of the ranges where the rivers first overflow upon the plains;  where there is a good proportion of grass & herbs, and a little salt bush.  I imagine such country exists on the upper Lachlan, Darling, and its tributaries.  Jamiesons opinion may be thoroughly relied upon being both practical and reliable in every sense.  You may receive them in confidence
