with the case, but Darvall although one of my Counsel did not make himself so much master of the Case as Sir Wm. Manning did, I wd therefore take it very kind of you if you would sound Sir Wm. Manning on the subject.  My own opinion is to go on with the Case, but a man is not always the best judge of his own case.  I would also take it very kind of you if you would sound Mr. Moriarty or Mr. Robertson as to their views, for it they wd lease the runs in my possession I might be disposed to forego all claim to the restitution of the money and stop the Case.  This is a delicate point, and would require care in the way in which it would
