we must before long follow the dear ones who have gone before, still we cannot avoid pain at parting, and our pain has been greater on account of being absent at the last.  Our best consolation is the hope of reunion in the everlasting mansions of the Blest.  May God in mercy through our Saviour's mediation strengthen that hope, and enable us to care less for the things of this world, and prepare more for the life to come.
