by auction, but there was not more than 80 acres out of upwards of 8000 sold at the sale and that small quantity was purchased by two jobbers, not a bona fide settler was at the sale, it had been surveyed in allotments of from 20 to 160 acres.  After the sale it was open to selection when I took it all up.  It is first class grazing land that will carry fully a sheep to the acre when fenced in, bonded bounded by the river Campaspie on one side and the railway fence subdiving it.  It is an open level plain skirted with timber on the sides, and in damp seasons like this & last year, would grow wheat well.  What I look forward
