from my Murrimbidgee Stations, since the rain fell last Sunday, but I have no doubt but it has been sufficient for the pastures and the crops, though I fear it has not filled the dams or tanks.  I was up there about 3 weeks ago and was truly alarmed at the state of the country.  I had to work several of the wells, indeed I had to work some of them in the middle of winter, as the lambing Ewes could not do without water, and in consequence had but an indifferent lambing:  only about 70 per cent.  I have fenced in all the run, and subdivided it into 9 paddocks:  on the open plains with wire, and in the pine ridges with
