Mr. Cowper to reason with Mr. Robertson on the subject.
I intend leaving for Sydney by the "City of Melbourne" steamer on Monday next to try and stop the sale, and more to buy the blocks under protest, but in case any thing unforseen should prevent me, I take the liberty of requesting you to buy the blocks for me under protest at not more than the following prices, viz
For Block D. £3500 and
for Block E. £3200
to meet such payments I send herewith a letter of credit on the Commercial Bank for £6700.
