Volume 60: William Campbell letters, 1846-1894: No. 105
You are here
by the bye what became of the Camden flock? Have they been kept pure & unmixed and are any of them to be purchased. I unfortunately sold my small flock with my stations in 1857 and the purchasers made a mistake in introducing [indecipherable] blood amongst them, but they say they have got rid of it again. I should like to purchase a few of the Camden flock, that is to say if they have been kept pure, since they left Camden.
I am at issue with the Government of New South Wales about portions of my run which I bought under protest. Under petition of right my case will be brought before the Supreme Court probably in Augt. next. Messrs Johnson & Johnson Solicitors of Pitt Street are my Solicitors. This being the first time I have ever had any thing to do with litigation, I am rather anxious about it, though I think I have a strong case.
Trusting to hear from you in reply soon.
Very truly yours
