There is a prejudice against the Camden Merinos in Australia on account of their bare faces and bare legs, though in my opinion it is an advantage, as wool on the face and legs collect grass seeds and irritates the animal, and such wool is of little value.  You will see near mine some New Zealand Merinos with wooly faces.
