and I have been disgusted with the place they took in the sale room.  The Saxon Merino is closer and finer than the Merino but has not the length nor softness of the Spanish (Camden) Merino, by shearing far from the skin, high feeding through the whole year, shelter &c., length is obtained and a splendid fleece is obtained, but if these artificial animals were mixed in a flock on a run they wd. probably shew an extremely short fleece.  I should certainly not recommend the introduction of any any other race into the flock, as the object of getting back the pure Merinos to Camden
