The introduction of any other race into the flock would at once destroy its pure Camden character and so bring it to the level of any good Merino flock of mixed race. I have for a long period kept the flock unmixed, and when your Uncle said that he never parted with his stud flock he no doubt meant that he never sold any of the ewes.
