the time of sale, they shear early and bring their animals up fat as pigs, with enormous weight of fleece, this system is condemned by most breeders, but the highly fed rams take the eye and ordinary buyers are "sold" in their purchases.  Rams never shew to advantage till they are 3 or 4 years old, neither do Ewes - please take this into account when you examine the clip, as both the ram and the Ewes are only young animals.

We are having great stir about The Exhibition opening tomorrow.  I think I will defer my visit for a few days.
