take for them, as to terms he would make them to suit me. I have however at present no spare cash, and would not like to incur such heavy liabilities, for although I estimate my property consisting of land, stock & stations to be worth £120,000 clear of all incumbrances, I do not wish to incur a heavy debt.  At the same time I think Furlongs stations in the Lachlan would be a very safe investment.  If you were disposed to buy, I could get a good price for one of my properties and might soon be prepared to take a half of it.  Pray accept the estimate of the value of my property, which I have never made to any other, as confidential
