Transcription

We were coming into the head station late one evening with a big mob of heifers, & overheard TOM & BUNDA saying what they would like to eat. Tom must have heard Mr WITT'S description of a good Chinese as he preferred a fat black duck stuffed & roasted.

Bunda's fancy was RICE PUDDING. They heard me laugh & said "we only talk like that when we are vey hungry".

Fresh meat was their specialty & like WHISKY was called GENGIE
