The most savage fights were when an abo CRAMMED (stole) another abos GIN. The GINS got their fair cut of it too, by getting the bride down on her back, & putting red hot coals on her TUMMY & other little lady like jokes.
The gins fought with their YAM STICKS WUN-BA about 6 feet long & 11/4 inches in diameter. They worked themselves up into a wonderful rage, yelling all the time how they were going to deal it to the other MARV (MOONIE woman) & illustrating it with most terrific hits on the ground with their WUN-BAS, which they also used when hunting, & digging out yams & other edible roots. The yam stick was pointed at both ends, but do not think that they used it like a BAYONET.
Heard great laughter at the camp (WEIBEHR) one night, & asked BUNDA what was the joke. It was BILLY GORDON (pure abo) who had been educated. First he been sing, then he bin say it prayer, then he been swear BY CRIPES They do not understand religion.
