Miriam Vale consisted of four blocks of land now called PARISHES. Miriam Vale was central, POLMAILY took in the COLOSSEUM, the heads of HOUSE, ROUND, SKELETON & THREE MILE creeks. BOLBORRIN took ORETI, MORALGARAN, & as far as the THORNHILL 3 MILE, GOSCHEN went to where LOWMEAD is now, & the head of BAFFLE CREK(sic), & right down to the salt water must have bean(sic) in it, to make the 500sq miles of country, quite a lot of the MANY PEAK range being unavailable.
Old Miriam Vale run was bounded on the NORTH by the PACIFIC Ocean, SOUTH by THORNHILL 3 MILE & BOBBY'S RANGE, EAST by Head of BAFFLE CREEK, & across to where LOWMEAD now is, WEST by the MANY PEAKS range.
