went so quickly that I found my holiday was up before I had realized it had started and even then I crowded two months into two weeks. I called in & had a yarn with Ben a couple of times but I couldnt fit in time to go out to his house. I was sorry, too, that I didnt see Jack. I would have liked also to see Miss Hill at Hampstead & Mr Newby but couldnt fit it in. Mr Willmott was very disappointed that I couldnt go to his house at Kensington for a day or even for dinner. Really though he is so busy at the Bank with the War Loan he found time to write me 3 letters inviting me out and once he even went to the trouble of calling at the Jermyn Court Hotel, a long way from the Bank, just to see me.
