awful anxiety awaiting the following ones. I am very glad you had such a splendid nurse to look after you. I just hate to think that I am going off on a holiday tomorrow to enjoy myself and you suffering so at home. I wish I could have my fortnight's leave at home. I do hope you will not take any chances or unnecessary risks with yourself.
And on top of your trouble you tell me that Ida was over to see you and was not "too good" and that she wants a long rest. Really there's little doubt that the strain of all this upheaval is more severe by far to you folk than to us over here.
