the last 12 months - which is more than a slight compliment to our little circus. At present we are in the vicinity of where we started operations in France and though we're fairly busy just now I am hoping to get away for a day in a couple of weeks time & go along to the old spot to renew the firm friendships I made with the French people there 15 months ago. I have, by the way, quite a number of French correspondents all over this country. I will enclose a couple of letters I received recently (for your perusal only) just to show you what a hit I have made here!!!
The plague of mice in the wheat stacks over there has apparently been annoying and destructive. Here we have a rat plague but it aids towards excellent revolver practice.
