That same young gentleman came along to my dugout yesterday eve to pay his respects.  I showed him all the home letters I received & yarned to him for a long time but as he did'nt seem in a hurry to leave I loaded him up with a lot of things from my kit - pipes shaving soap shirts &c cigarettes & tobacco.  Still loathe to leave I gave him all the books I could find & about a dozen Bulletins.  When dinner was announced he was still here so I asked him to dine with me.  After getting his tummy well packed he
