Mater dearest
Have got time for a little chat though I've nothing especial to say to you. The opportunity to write occurs so seldom now that I won't miss one when available.
Syd was along to see me today & was quite O.K. except for a bad toothache. He showed me the tooth & I sent him along to a person I knew to have it out. He came back shortly afterwards with a huge tooth, broken in two, in his hand. He was suffering a little pain but will be quite alright again tomorrow. He has been suffering from an abscess under another tooth for a couple of weeks but as it was not so bad today and the swelling had gone down I would not allow him to have it out. The doctor is trying to get into touch with
