& the Corner House. We went to a few convivial dances & festive parties. We made many friends, both male & female, who gave us a rattling time. We had many very joyous car rides. We struck many fellows we knew from the A.I.F. who were on leave or on convalescent leave. I went out to a famous Aerodrome, the O.C. & some of the officers of which I knew. I was shown all over the Aerodrome from start to finish - a most wonderful & interesting experience which is the fortune of very few except those actually connected with the show. I was taken up for a fly, a most exciting & thrilling experience. This also does not often fall to the lot of anyone outside the Air Service. It was my first flight and I enjoyed it muchly.
