Yes Pater I am well aware that the worry over Bob that the Mater suffered was caused mainly by her keeping the bulk of the trouble from you. I am well aware of the whole facts. It is rather a pity that such worry and anxiety should be caused her at such a period but it is just like the Mater to endeavour to shoulder it all herself. It is not the slightest wonder to me that she has had such a breakdown after all she has had to cause such - in addition to the worry over Bob, the 3 of us away, all the household worries, the rotten war news, the long casualty lists & the hundred & one other things, why, I say its wonderful of her to be as well as she is. I think she is wonderful & simply splendid.
