That Queensland bullocks often did not take to it, & he was depending on it, as well as some beautiful young prairie grass to fatten them.

A brother of mine met Mr Keys some years after, & was told that the Miriam Vale bullocks XIX were the best mob he had ever had, & most of them went off prime in the Spring.

Mr Keys gave me a letter to my father, stating that he had been buying store bullocks for 16 years, & they were the best conditioned mob he had ever taken delivery of.

Should have got that letter & framed it.

Big Bill caught a train to Sydney, but it was Sunday, & no train North, so it fell to me to take Mrs Keys to church, & was lent a hard hitter, as a cabbage tree may
