dinner chat we took our departure & caught the 3.30 train for Bath. At Bath we saw the Abbey, Royal Baths & Markets also some very fine hotels. The gardens lying alongside the river (Avon) were very pretty. Darkness then coming on we turned into the soldiers club for tea & then caught the train home arriving at Salisbury in the rain. Here we caught a taxi back to camp arriving about 1 am on Mon morning.
30/10/16 Tonight I betook myself & my belongings by taxi for 2/6 down to camp 3 as from tomorrow I have
