7/7/16 - 8/7/16 We begin to feel that our long voyage is at an end. We have ample evidence that those in charge are taking every precaution against the deadly German "tin-fish". Passing shipping becomes more frequent, the number of sailing vessels striking the attention of us Australians.
9/7/16 Soon after our morning meal is over we are able to discern land ahead. It grows gradually plainer till at last we can clearly see the green hills of old England & how sweet they look too, after our long spell afloat. About 4 pm we enter Devonport Harbour and passing in thro'
