-5-16 Fair weather, pleasant sailing & little seasickness.

-5-16 Do. Nearing noon we picked up the pilot outside the Rip of Hobsons Bay. He took us safely just inside where a destroyer of our navy took our first mail for home. We then turned about and once more settled down to stern sea voyaging.

-5-16 (Sunday) Is slightly rough & finds many others & myself hopelessly seasick.

-5-16 The weather is rough & cold, but we mostly overcome our sickness but yet feel rather "doubtful".

-5-16 17-5-16 The weather continues the same. We settle down to our sea life, which however, we do not consider the most enjoyable way of living.
