3-6-16 (Saturday) We arose rather more expectant than usual, & were pleasantly surprised when the strengthening light revealed the long wished for land ahead. After breakfast we find ourselves in a large open bay, but protected from the wind prevailing. Through the bay we were piloted to the narrow entrance to the harbour proper formed by the Bluff on the one side & the Point on the other with concrete breakwaters on either side.
Arrived in harbour we berthed at Tiberia; that is the Bluff side and unpopulated. We were soon conveyed across to the
