been transferred to the 9th Field Ambulance in exchange for a man of the 9th who has been with our detail for 6 weeks or so. This transfer was not solicited although approved of by myself, but arranged by my former O.C. His reason given was that he knew I disagreed with a certain other member of the detail & that he thought it would be for my own good to be away from him & that that was what he was thinking of. In my opinion he did it to oblige the corporal by introducing his mate into the unit permanently bearing the other matter in mind. Needless to say
