18-5-16 Expect to pass Albany tomorrow & may post mail till 6 pm. I have posted a letter to Mother & pc's to Father and Mary.
19-5-16 Our letters have not been posted & we all regret not touching land in Australia after our old Sydney town. We look forward, or rather expect, I had better say, a long sea trip. We passed a ship today. Quite an event. The first since Melb.
21-5-16 (Sunday) Church Parade. Uniting. Collection £17-2-0 to Ancient Merchant Seamen & Widows.
23-5-16 (Tues) 7th FAB Concert. We now know we are going to Durban.
24-5-16 Very heavy sideways swell on causing much rolling of ship & consequently much fun & merriment. It is rather amusing watching
