The museum is a very handsome building and much more extensive than one would expect. From the V & A museum we made our way up to the Albert Memorial & the Albert Memorial Hall, a circular hall of amazing size & very peculiar structure. Here we took a bus out to Kew Gardens. There we had tea in one of the peculiar river garden terrace tea-gardens, & visited the beautiful Kew Royal Botanical Gardens. We were impressed by the gigantic oval glasshouses in which great palms grew in their own tropical climes. An interesting feature was the
