It is about 11 am as we stand out to sea in a square formation following the cruiser thus
Ben " " Beltana
Mar " " Argyll
The Marathon is a beautiful ship and rides the waves very neatly but the other two, and the cruiser worse than all, roll and toss in the smooth sea enough to make one very thankful he will not be aboard them for some rough weather.
17/6/16 No longer can we discern the friendly shore. Being one of a small convoy we have a feeling of companionship unlike the feeling of loneliness prevailing while the Argyllshire travelled alone.
