Presently we will realize by various indications like these that this is really a moderately war-stricken country. Anyhow the Australian finds his the buying capacity of his few shillings a day sadly curtailed, & we are hardly the millionaires at large we expected to be.
11/8/16 Since the date of my last entry we have all had a quiet and uneventful time and in our own detail I must admit to a lazy one too. Our daily routine consists of reveille at 6.30 am, dress fully - in uniform & be ready for
