It was now 101/2 weeks since we sailed from Sydney, & during this time we had had only about 48 hours leave. But now one half of our brigade was already on four days leave returning tomorrow night and tomorrow morning we the remainder should go for our four days leave.
24/7/16 The dawn of a long looked for day. For today's the day and we go to London with great expectations in our hearts, and all our available cash in our pockets.
