& here I was made quite at home by his kind parents. After lunch we went for a walk through the city & observed the Tramways Centre, Bristol Bridge, St Mary's Redland & also saw the factories of Wills & Frys both of immense extent. After returning for tea we went to the Bristol Hippodrome & then for a short walk thru' the darkened city & so home to bed & rest. The next morning (Sunday) we went for a walk past the Victoria Convalescent Home to Durdham Downs, the immense park along side the city, & so on along
