evident that these immense stones about 20 to 30 feet long by 4 x 5 have been placed according to a certain plan apparently three elipses one inside the other first small about 12 feet high, then large nearly 30 feet high, & inside small again say 6 feet high. It would appear that formerly these stones supported other flat stones placed as a roof from the top of one stone to the top of the next, as some very large & heavy ones still remain. As to whether the whole was roofed by these stones I cannot venture an opinion.
