notwithstanding the review, preparations had been in swing for holding sports among the 3rd Div'n in rear of Camp 10. On the Saty morning massed bands announced the commencement of the Sports & I went down for the morning & returned again in the afternoon. A very interesting programme was arranged and keenly competed events fully occupied the spectators till during the afternoon three aeroplanes appeared & one landing the airman descended & visited the sports while needless to say, the men rushed from the sports & surrounded his machine in eager curiosity. I took a few snaps but they were not too clever.
