Henry & I got up a bit of a dinner the other day in honor of three Australian nurses who came round & everything went along fine, & the only fault was, that the cooks forgot to put salt in the cooking, but that was a trifle ca compared with the great time we all had.
The mess room looked well, for Henry's brother came from the Pyramids, & had the good sense to buy some flowers in Cairo for the unsightly tables.
Off course we had a table cloth which we took a loan of from the officers mess, & bought some paper serviettes, with the Union Jack & Australian flags printed on in colors, so you can see what a good show we made.
Well now I think I've pretty well run out of news, so I shall have to draw to a close, & will write as soon as arriving out the next destination which I wont tell you yet.
With heaps of love to all & trusting you are growing better. Tons of kisses to all,
I am
Your loving son
Rupert
