Dear Yvonne

A few lines to let you know how I'm jogging along.

You will notice I'm still in the hospital but I am expecting to be fired out on Monday as a convalesent so you can see I'm pretty well alright once again.

All of the doctors say I am one of the lucky ones & every day our doctor brings up another just to have a look at my neck but the wounds are healed & there only the scars left.  My collar bone is fixed also but where the bullet went in at the shoulder blade it is still black with a big bruise & I get it massaged every afternoon.

I will fo be another forteen days before I will have the full power of the arm & when I'm quite alright again
