I have some of those little china ornaments with the coat of arms of the different places I have been too & I will have to get someone on one of the boats to take them out as posting them they will surely get broken, so dont be surprised when you get a parcel from me.
Two days before my leave us [was] up I was in the Commonwealth offices looking at the latest list when a man came in & asked me what part of Australia I came from & when I told him he took me out to Bush Hill where he lives & he has just received a commission in the flying corps.
He is a Sydney chap & quite young & knows plenty of my cobbers & he used to live in Mosman & knows the Spains, & also the Campbells at Coonamble & he was surprised when I showed him different letters which I had in my pocket.
