millions of them, but I am afraid we did too much yearning & tea drinking for I must tell you we made a picnic of it & were lucky to get what we did as we were "choffed" & told we would land back with empty baskets but they were "had". On Sunday I made the dough for the blackberries & had the tart for dinner with some cream & I can tell you it went "boska".
The "scivie" was given the day off but she came back in the afternoon a tea time & I got some lovely looks & scowls when she saw her kitchen but we cleaned it up for her as she wasn't a bad little "Tabbie" at all.
On Monday we went for a swim after breakfast & for a wonder it was a fine warm sunny day & a bigger wonder still when I found the girls could swim as very few seem to be able to do so even the kids generally dont seem to want to learn, but are fond of padding [paddling] & then again these people go nearly into fits if their little ones go out any distance. I dont think it gives them confidence as for instance
