I helped the man chop their tails of & now they look better still, they are those black & white fox terriers which old "tibby" has such a set on, & they are a good breed & I'm going to collar one & take him with me.
Our dog which we brought all the way from Rosehill was still alive in the trenches about three weeks ago & when they had a bayonet charge he would run with our men & bark all the time, I supose he was trying to shout like we do when we have a charge.
There is going to be a snifter battle in the Dardanellles in about a month's time & then we are off to Constantinople & I am going to be there for that I wouldn't miss that for anything.
