brigade, so that was a smack in the eye for the Victorian crowd & we are going to do the same next week.
Our band has been picked to play at St Kilda to-morrow also & they are practicing for all they are worth to-day & I think they will make a name for themselves too.
We are having a holiday to-day as they have been inspecting our kit & rigging us us out to the last button.
There are military sports on this afternoon for the whole lot of us but I myself have not entered for anything as I'm not in the same street as some of the others. There is a silver cup for several events & I can tell you that two are going to belong to the 13th & that is in the brigade running championship & one of our chaps ran against Donaldson & Postle who are worlds champions, & this chap
