Egypt don't you worry.
I dont know what posse possessed this old "quack" here to reckon I wasn't fit & I dont agree with him as I am just as well & strong as ever I was, with the exception that I seem to always have a headache.
This is not a bad place but it's too jolly far from London being 178 miles, & we are not in tents but huts made of wood & twenty five in each one. It is only half a mile from the beach & there is plenty of swimming but there is no surf like on our lovely beaches. The scenery is lovely too & there are some beautiful strolls in very pretty scrub & its prettier when there is a pretty little girl alongside.
There is very little to be done in this camp & plenty of leave & yesterday we had all day off & went up the hills for a picnic & had a jolly good day as the people who came with us fed us like fighting cocks & our "little marys"
