through Weymouth & made a good showing as lots of them still bore the scars, but quite healed up.
I got some letters sent over from the firing line & they were marked wounded & signed by our captain.
Some of these letters were months old but it was a treat to read them & I wish I could get some more but I think they will all be sent over in time.
I see by to-days paper that one of our men have won a V.C. & I am glad he is one of our brigade as lots of the first crowd said that the second crowd were not soldiers but showed them we were in lots of ways before we left Egypt & also in the scrap. There are a lot of us who have made wagers as to the future of Warsaw & most of them think that the squareheads will get it but I & a few others think it is a good move by Russia & they will make mince meat of the
